Just a lazy Sunday morning around the house, messing around with the camera.
A while back, I read Peter Evans’ excellent blog post Film & Vision – Making Fuji-X Simulations Work For You, which outlined Peter’s take on the various film simulations available in the Fujifilm X-Series cameras, and how he makes them work for him. Or more particularly, how he tweaks them to mimic photographic styles of prominent photographers, past and present.
Like many a Fujifilm shooter, I’m enamoured with the Classic Chrome simulation, which according to Fuji “developed to deliver the tonal depth required in documentary and street photography,” but to most people evokes the look & feel of Kodachrome.
Peter tweaked Classic Chrome to evoke some of the work of William Eggleston, so I decided to give it a go around the house this morning.
Apart from a few minor crops, these are SOOC (straight out of the camera).
