Many of the buildings in the historic Lowertown neighbourhood of Ottawa are at the end of their useful lives, and aren’t necessarily architecturally worth preserving. They are destined to be replaced with condos; wouldn’t it be a good idea to ensure that any new structures at least try to fit in with their surroundings?
