A rapidly gentrifying neighbourhood west of downtown Ottawa, Wellington St. (Hintonburg's main street) always seems to be in a perpetual state of flux.
Businesses open and close with regularity here.
COVID-19 already seems to be doing its damage; I've never seen so many empty storefronts and FOR LEASE signs.
Wellington St. has seen many ups & downs over the years, it will surely bounce back. In the meantime, I hope it never loses its hip quirkiness. In a city whose official colour should be beige, Hintonburg is a rainbow.

     These confounded tulips are everywhere...

What ever happened to that big cannabis boom?
