The death throes of winter, distracting and disturbing news from abroad, a very busy workweek, and a new toy (Fujifilm Fujinon 70-300mm zoom lens) made for a mixed bag this week.

What a week. Bitterly cold, and deeply disturbing with all the craziness going on with the protests/occupation/whatever that’s going on in downtown Ottawa. I tried not to focus too much on it, but it was hard to ignore.
