262/365 : The purple buffet
A bee’s job is never done.
Not quite feeling 100% (as to be expected after 3 days of chemo), I decided to keep things simple for today and make do with a shot of the orchids in the window.
The pear tree we planted last fall is starting to look nice! It’s a shame the flowers don’t smell as good as they look.
There’s this one stubborn daisy that lives alongside the fence between my neighbour’s property and mine. Clearly, it didn’t get the memo that autumn is in full swing; everything else is turning orange, red or brown, yet here it is, cheerily brightening up our ever-shortening days.
