It's still officially summer... as much as I love a colourful autumn, it's too early for leaves to start changing. I guess there's no delaying the inevitable.
We're having a federal election this year in Canada, and because of my compromised immune system and that pesky Covid, I have decided to vote by mail for the first time in my life. It was super-easy to register to vote by mail, and this morning my "voting kit" arrived in the mailbox.
You just might like what you see.
Not yet, anyhow. I don't know what took us so long, but replacing our modest little deck something we should have undertaken years ago. At least we didn't do it in the spring when lumber was hard to come by and outrageously expensive. Now it's only expensive (but worth it).
It always takes me a little while to ease back into the work mindset after 10 days off.
Didn't get out to shoot today, so I had to made do with what was cooking. Tonight's delight: spicy beef kebabs on the grill.
